What's beta about it?
We’ll request your input: Many of us have a lot of different props and different abilities to mount this system. We be asking for your feedback about what other types of mounts would be useful and what other scenarios to account for.
Parts: We’ve already gone through many revisions over the past couple of years. There may be some minor adjustments to the mounts, the bases will not change, though we plan to add more bases. We also intend to add more mount and kit options, as our and your needs arise.
Kit names: We’re still figuring out the extent of the system. The names of the kits might change over time, but we have SKUs laser etched onto the part, so we’ll be able to identify which part you’re talking about down the road.
Warranty: Not sure what’s going to come up here yet.
Pricing: We’re not certain of all the costs yet, but we’re starting low to get them in your hands. Prices might increase during and after beta.
Documentation: The system is pretty self-explanatory and we have some basic instructions to start with below. We’ll come up with more video or print instructions as needed during the beta process.
Features & Tech Specs
modular, versatile and expandable prop rack system
We’ve designed add-ons and mounts to hold a wide variety of props and other objects, check out the detailed images and descriptions below to get a sense of what is possible:
Power bin: Ideal for holding chargers, power cords, and small props. Also a powerful extension to your base, enabling many more props to be mounted. 3 holes in the bottom fit most common plugs. 1 centered and 1 in each back corner.
Parts bin: Ideal for caps, spare parts, lights and batteries. Hooks on the side of or sits on top of a power bin to hold small parts and cover up the cables. NOTE: Requires power bin. Does not directly fit on bases.
5-fork: Ideal for 5 clubs, or 3-7 poi. Each round holds 1 club, ball or poi head. Each fork holds 1 stick, club or poi knob. Can also be used like a hook for poi loops, nunchaku and whatever fits.
1-fork deep: Ideal for mounting sticks, poi and/or clubs on the sides of your power bin. Holds 3-5 sticks, 3+ poi, 3 clubs, or whatever fits.
Hooks: Ideal for hooking things ;) dart, chucks, astrojax, poi loops, headphones, a remote etc. 2 of these next to each other also nicely hold a single staff or a few wands horizontally.
Down-low: Ideal for adding a base below another base.
Toy bin: Ideal for small props toys and parts that don't fit on your rack. Most mounts can also be added to the bin, but because of its size, and depending on how its base is attached, it's fairly easy to overload it. Don't expect a "6-fork deep" with 30 staves on it to hold up very well ;)
