The new "vision core" takes LED prop technology to a whole new level with stunning customizable modes, wireless sync and control, adjustable brightness, motion response, and so much more.

Made with high performance carbon fiber shaft, super durable polycarbonate tubes, beautiful silicone caps, the new vision contact staff is truly the next level in LED contact staffs. Plus it comes with flowtoys connect technology, and can wirelessly connect to many other flowtoys props, including poi, chucks, juggling clubs and more.

Non-US shipping options: We cannot ship staffs (>24") with "First Class International" due to length restrictions. Different countries also have different length restrictions on Priority or Express. If your staff exceeds the maximum length allowed for your country, we will email you with options to upgrade your shipping. The main differences between this "vision contact staff" and the "vision contact staff XL" are the amount of light and the playable shaft length. The more lights, the shorter your shaft length and vice versa. This vision contact staff has a longer playable shaft and is more rigid. It feels better as a contact staff than the XL, but there is less light output.

  • Please be aware that staffs with longer shaft lengths (130cm and up) are more flexible.

Shaft Tape Colors

Composite staffs' carbon fiber shafts come wrapped in high-quality holographic deco tape. Choose from 4 available tape options each featuring its own unique color & optical effects:

  • classic: a classy silver prismatic tape
  • firefly: a shimmering green & gold holographic tape
  • spirit: a lustrous, iridescent soft purple & cyan tape
  • white tiger: pearlescent base overlaid with a silvery cat eye pattern that is ultra reflective

Want to use the flowtoys connect app? You'll need a small hardware bridge to enable your props to talk to your mobile device and vice versa.




We have 2 options for bridges:

  • Pocket bridge comes with its own power bank and can be used when you're out and about.
  • USB bridge is great for home use. Just plug into power via usb.

    Bullshit good glow contact staff

    This is my second glow contact staff (first from Lanternsmith), and fourth contact staff (one practice one fire both from Wizard of Flow), so I've got a bit of a collection of high quality gear. This flowtoys vision contact might be my favourite. It's so easy to use, almost as easy as a dragon staff but without being too simple so there's still a challenge there to keep you engaged with it. I bought the standard not the XL but it still looks more than pretty enough for my needs. If you're thinking about getting this and can afford one then do it, you won't regret your purchase.

    i have no words for how much i love this thing

    i had a flowtoys staff over 15 years ago, back when they were made of what was almost like a clear, bouncy PVC, and the lights had mesh around them. such magical times i had with that staff...lots of fun, and it took the abuse i put it through. flowtoys staffs were the coolest thing back then, today i can say that absolutely nothing has changed and they are *still* the coolest thing.

    i can't put it down - and all these years later it seems like they've been iterating on the things they've learned from making these for so long, because i like how this one spins but also how it feels in my hand - better than some day staffs that don't even have to balance lights.

    i also have to mention the customer experience - i've had things break on my poi as well and they just replace things for me, no hassle. they stand behind their warranties and are very warm people too :)

    if you're on the fence, this is your sign!

    CAN YOU DIG IT??

    Incredible, absolutely incredible. Flowing with this staff has been such a journey for me. I have actually had mine for a few months now and I decided to come on here to leave a review because this staff is that great.

    If your considering buying this staff, buy it. There are so many modes, the lights & patterns are beautiful, and all of the modes have different customizable modes within those modes, so in way its pretty much inception.

    When I say I abused this staff I mean it has gotten wet, left in a hot car in the summer for days, thrown in the dirt, thrown on the concrete, and kicked across many rooms. While I do not recommend treating your items this way, I can say this staff is DURABLE.

    Besides being well made, it has a great feeling in regards to grip, and helped me perfect a lot of intermediate moves. If you think this is a pricey item, trust me when I say it is well worth it.

    I had a vision of the future!

    Wow. This is an amazing prop. From top to bottom, it feels amazing. The carbon fiber shaft feels springy, but firm. The tack on the grip is great and easy to clean. The new compression connectors are solid, and now tapered, so you don't get an "edge" to your playable space!

    And the lights. Wow. These are addicting. They are so bright and have so many fun modes! The button is a little hard to press through the flowcap, but they tell you this in the instructions. So I synced them with a capsule light as a remote, and, boom, everything works together!

    This is an amazing staff, and really pushes the limits of LED props.

    Best staff I've invested in.

    I'm admittedly new at staff and had gone through several that made contact moves extremely difficult, but I was dedicated and making slow progress. I got the vision xl staff after a local recommended it and said that I couldn't break it and if I did the warranty was good for drops. I pull the trigger and got this and my contact staff abilities skyrocketed. A good light staff with flowers makes a significant difference when it comes to contact. Then at a festival, I visited Flowtoys booth I tried the standard vision staff and the decreased weight and increased contact room again caused my skill to skyrocket again and they helped me swap it out. Now I use this and another carbon fire staff and have no idea what to use all my old aluminum staves for anymore. This is the only LED contact staff you'll need in my opinion.

    You will Not! be dissapointed.

    Did some research and if you want a LED contact staff...this is the only way to go. Recently did b2b show weekend and the batteries lasted into chilling by the river the next day!! Remote function works great and the 30 preset light functions look beautiful. The contact staff flows and feels great 10/10. Everything that comes with it is superior quality. We couldnt be happier thank you Flowtoys fam!!!!
