Wand length

Available in several lengths. We do not offer custom lengths on full vision props as the pixel spacing will be irregular.

Contact wand vs dance wand

The full vision contact wand has elastomer grip, silicone flowcaps and added flowmass to optimize handling for contact wand moves. The contact wand comes standard with a contact knob handle.

The full vision dance wand is designed to be as lightweight and slim as a full vision wand can be. It has no grip, no mass and no flowcaps; instead it has custom 3D-printed caps that are lightweight and low profile. It comes standard with a loop of short string and swiveled double finger loop.

*DURABILITY WARNING

The full vision wand is very durable but not indestructible. Breaks are rare but they can happen. Full vision wands can break if dropped on sharp or rough surfaces like rough concrete, gravel, rocks etc. or if it hits objects at high speed.

How it’s made: In order to make the shaft clear AND stiff, they are made with an acrylic shaft with protective outer sheath and grip, instead of polycarbonate like all our other clear tubes. Acrylic is much stiffer than polycarbonate, but it is also more brittle.

These wands are extremely durable under most conditions and even hard drops on smooth hard surfaces. The thin polycarbonate sheath and grip provide moderate impact protection, but it does have weaknesses:

• Impact cracking: Impacting rough hard surfaces like concrete, gravel, or the edge of a table or other hard object can crack the shaft.
• Bend-limit snapping: Over-bending it will break it. This can happen on a very hard drop, though that is very rare and might only happen if already damaged by impact. It is more likely to happen by hard impact of the end while spinning, getting abused during transport, or even someone sitting on it!
• Heat-warping: Acrylic can begin to soften at 150F/65C and warp at even lower temps. Leaving in a hot car, windowsill, or closed container in the sun can cause it to get bent! This is fairly rare but does happen. If you need to store it in a hot place, like a sun room, shed, RV etc. hang it vertically by the cap so it will not warp.

The shaft is considered “consumable” under our warranty with a nominal fee to cover replacement.
