Leash Cord:
10mm FPC
- custom-made, similar to VPC
- great for poi, darts, puppyhammers and other tethered props
- supple, yet stiff
- low stretch
- can be cut with scissors, ends can be melted to prevent fraying
Note: FPC (like VPC) can shrink up to 4cm (1.5”), though probably less than that, and usually in the first few months of use. The shrinkage is due to the internal fibers shifting until they settle into a more stable state. We recommend you start with 1" longer than you’re ideal length.

Custom lengths:
We do our best to match your requested length exactly, though some variation cannot be reasonably avoided. Poi leash tends to shrink a little over time - we aim to meet your requested length at a minimum, and it could be ~5mm longer. We take extra care to ensure that all poi in a set are as close to the same length as possible, though ~2mm variation is possible.
If you require tighter tolerance than this, we recommend you purchase enough leash to make at least two attempts yourself. Making very small adjustments to the leash length is very difficult, because the melted end breaks down with re-heating and needs to be cut off, which makes the lash at least 5mm shorter. Since the leash can shrink by more than that over time, we recommend you start a bit longer. Small variation in leash length is hard to feel/notice, and the lengths of all poi in a set matching is more important than the overall length of the set.
Bridge for connecting to the app:
Want to use the flowtoys connect app? You'll need a small hardware bridge to enable your props to talk to your mobile device and vice versa.
We have 2 options for bridges:
- Pocket bridge comes with its own power bank and can be used when you're out and about.
- USB bridge is great for home use. Just plug into power via usb.

I went with the default leash length and the extra flowmass and it's perfect.

Flowtoys at it again!
Having spun many iterations of meteor poi from flowtoys over the years, everything from capsule 1's to original v1 flowlights I can say with conviction that they have dialed in the components of these poi to make them astounding. If you're looking for a more budget option from the vision meteors look no further. Having now added these to my prop rack I can say with gumption that it will be a hard choice on which lights to take with me when I go out. For anyone interested in sizing, the pre set size came out of the packaging ready to spin, and when sized in comparison to my vision setup they were less than 1mm different. If you're looking for ready to go out the box meteors these won't break the bank and are absolutely astounding poi once again!
