Staffs are typically in stock and will be shipped out within 4 business days, often faster. If you are in a rush, please select Express shipping and leave a note on your order with the date you need it by, and we'll do our best to make magic happen.

Non-US shipping options

We cannot ship staffs (>24") with "First Class International" due to length restrictions. Different countries also have different length restrictions on Priority or Express shipping. If your staff exceeds the maximum length allowed for your country, we will email you with options to upgrade your shipping. 15mm vs 18mm carbon fiber shaft diameters

The advantage of a thinner / smaller diameter shaft is mostly in how it rolls along the body: the smaller diameter must rotate more times to travel the same distance, and it has a higher rolling resistance, which both lead to slower travel, which some people prefer for a slower movement flow.

A larger diameter head and/or flowers will also slow down the travel / roll. We've found 15mm to be the thinnest shaft that is still rigid enough to not be too bouncy. Adding flowers greatly reduces bounce by absorbing it.

The advantage of a thicker / larger diameter shaft is mostly that it is stiffer and less bouncy. The larger diameter also travels / rolls along the body faster, which some people prefer for faster movement flow. We've found 18mm to be the "point of diminishing returns" when it comes to stiffness. Any thicker doesn't make much practical improvement to stiffness, and starts to feel bulky and roll too fast.

Shaft Length

We offer a wide range of standard shaft lengths. Custom lengths available - please select the custom length option from the staff length dropdown and be sure to specify your desired overall staff length in the text field below.

• Please be aware that staffs with longer shaft lengths (130cm and up) are more flexible.
• Please note that custom lengths may have 2-week lead time to build.
• There are no refunds on custom lengths.

Bridge for connecting to the app

Want to use the flowtoys connect app? You'll need a small hardware bridge to enable your props to talk to your mobile device and vice versa.

We have 2 options for bridges:

• Pocket bridge comes with its own power bank and can be used when you're out and about.
• USB bridge is great for home use. Just plug into power via usb.
