  • awesome j-lace for stringing
  • custom 3D-printed crystal case v2

Lace

  • Solid and flat, not hollow, with zero stretch for precise and consistent handling, this silky-smooth weft-knitted, polyester ribbon is supple and durable.
  • At 0.5mm thick x 9mm wide, it's wide enough for comfortable handling without being bulky.

Crystal cases

  • While flowlights are durable, a hard impact can break the shell in or outside of cases.
  • We recommend that all flowlights spun as poi are protected in at least a crystal case or our other flowpoi casings. These cases also enable you to add flowmass to your poi heads.
  • Facets in the crystal line up with the button to enable you to feel the button in the dark.
  • Plus you can activate and change the modes of your flowlights without having to take them out of the crystals.

Batteries

  • Each flowlight runs on 1 AAA at full brightness throughout battery life.
  • Please use only rechargeable NiMHs or high quality alkalines. Cheap alkalines will cause your light to last only a few minutes and turn off on impact.

So much fun and especially beautiful at night

I've been having fun dancing with the Poi lights. I found out about them from a friend at Yosemite national park where we danced with them when it got dark. There's no experience required to just play and express yourself!

Hi Mylene,

Yes - we love hearing stories like this! We're glad that you've been having fun exploring movement, creativity and express with your new poi :)

Playing with flowtoys in the dark is one of the best ways to drop into a flow state, and we hope you have many wonderful moments with them going forward!

Coolest things ever

I have so many wonderful bruises from trying to learn but I'm glad they are as sturdy as they are! Great product, well done! I'm a complete beginner and am having the most fun with these. It's a little weird switching through the modes but perhaps I'm just not used to it. At any rate, 10/10

Hi Joseph,

Yessss - we love the crystal poi lite and are happy you have been too! They're a great subtitue for the old school chemical glowsticks many of us started spinning poi with - especially since they run on rechargeable AAA batteries ;)

If you do have any issues switching modes/pages, feel free to contact us directly at info@flowtoys.com and we'll do our best to help out!

My favorite set of rechargeable sticks for stringing at the moment. They can orbital forever, the cases allow for cleaner wraps, and because the sticks are heavier it makes changing directions and stalls a little easier than with other heavier or lighter rechargeable brands. Theres an accelerometer and a bunch of cool modes to play with as well.

Hi Kaili,

Thank you for sharing your feedback! It's great to hear how many different things you love about the crystal poi rigs - especially since you come from a stringing background :)

Things have come a long way since the old chemical glowstick days!

good balance

the poi set takes amazing consideration to how the location and weight of battery effect balance

Thanks for that feedback, and we appreciate that you noticed the conscious design choices we made for the optimal flow experience ;)

Stellar poi for glowstringing style

I can't stop playing with these things! Super bright, lots of cool patterns to choose from, and the new crystal cases are awesome. The kinetic sensor is really cool too. Especially in the blue blazer mode on page 2. Spin them slow and you get one pattern, spin them faster and you get a different pattern. Wicked! Battery life is pretty good and they're easy to swap out. The included charger is great too, recharges the batteries in no time. and it's usb powered. so you can charge from your car, a power bank, a charging brick, anywhere you can find a usb port for charging. 10/10 would recommend, would buy again.

Highly recommended!

I can't recommend this set enough, I'm so in love with them. Super bright, amazing color patterns, and the cases can take a beating. Batteries last for hours and charge pretty quick. If you're looking for a good balance between poi and glowstringing, this is the one.

I'm absolutely in love with my crystal lites

I'm absolutely in love with my crystal lites. As a beginner in the world of poi and spinning, it's fantastic to have a pair of lights that look so good, and the rechargable batteries are great, with no waiting for the lights to recharge (provided my backup batteries are charged of course.) Plenty of hours of entertainment, and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Absolutely top product

Ordered these to get more into poi and glowstringing, the colors and patterns are bright, the cases are nice and durable. They definitely brighten up the night when I bring these out to play. Absolutely top product.

Trippy with a capital T

When I put the battery in, I noticed the ridges and knobs molded into the housing. At the time I failed to see the value of those features, but when you're tripping balls, the damn thing comes alive, like a glowing alien organism. So amazing. Also, the battery is held very securely. I suggest inserting the housing into the cover pointy end first, with the string tied on the bottom.

More modes, battery monitor, still the crystal case we know and love

The flowlight provides an excellent and affordable alternative to the capsule light. With more advanced settings and more individual lights, the customisability is exponentially greater. While I've yet to explore all the modes, as there are so many, the ones I've seen are a lot of fun and allow for more creativity than ever before. As is stated in the marketing material, these new lights feature a mode called pulse. Having played around with this for hours now, the way the lights react to one's movement brings a whole new relationship to one's flow which I personally found really fun. One thing I tried was to find ways of making both poi flash at the same time. All in all, these are leaps and bounds ahead of previous flowlight iterations, with more and better-organized modes, these lights are a whole lot of fun.

If you love glowsticking, these crystals are all you.

Having a multitude of props grants inspiration to new ideas. If you love glowsticking, these crystals are all you.

Advantages: Lightweight for high speed spinning. Insert any flowlight for color customization, each with several modes for effect creation. Great for wraps and pattern spinning.

Disadvantages: Not rechargeable unless you have rechargeable batteries. Make for some pretty bruises when hit good enough.
