Compatibility

  • Flowmass can be installed onto crystal cases, all staffs, flowpoi, and other tubing-based flowtoys. They do not fit on flowlights or capsule lights alone.
  • If installing onto tubes, apply a tiny bit of vaseline/ petroleum jelly/ chapstick to the insides of the mass BEFORE installing on tube.
  • If installing onto crystal case, do NOT apply any lubricant otherwise the mass may fly off while spinning.

Surprisingly heavy!

Initial thought when they arrived: They're just thin pieces of plastic? They barely weigh anything...

Thought when I added them to my poi: Oh wow, they feel so much heavier now!

I feel like I've got a bit better with controlling the poi after putting in both masses. The added weight causes me to slow down my movements a little. Plus it makes poi spinning a bit more of a workout! Each mass weighs a little less than a AA battery, as a reference.

I only wish there was some sort of opening in them that would let me charge the podpoi without having to take them out.

Great purchase

On day 2 about 10 hours of play in after adding flowmass to my flowersticks. I use them like a baton/short staff and the added weight is really feeling good. My prop spins a bit faster but the extra weight keeps the control in my hands. Really the extra oomph I was looking for and for such a solid price. Great purchase
