Full vision vs composite flower stick
- the center shaft diameter is thicker, as it needs to fit the LEDs and transparent materials are not as stiff and strong as we'd like
- the playable area of the center shaft is shorter, as we need a length of thicker tubing at the end to fit the batteries and electronics
- the overall length is longer to enable a reasonable minimum playable center shaft
- the tapered connection between the two tubes enables the playable area to extend onto the thicker tubes for users who require that for their techniques
- the flowers make a good "bell" catch point on their own and can easily be moved to any position on the end tubes or removed depending on preference
- the overall weight is heavier to enable functional stiffness, durability, flowers and lighting effects
In terms of visual impact, nothing beats the full vision, but it is heavier and doesn't feel as stiff as the composite and vision flower sticks because those have solid carbon fiber shafts, while the full vision has clear tubes and electronics where the carbon fiber would be in the other options.

Roll angle
The stick starts rolling at almost any angle, but not too fast. As many people prefer some roll (and in fact some prefer no tassels at all), we have chosen a tassel style that gives a nice balance of roll-resistance and roll-ability. My best friend purchased the full vison flower sticks for my birthday (literally the best friend a person could ask for) I knew they were going to be heavier than my Jolly Llama Creations sticks so in preparation I added a bunch of weight to my center stick and have been practicing for a month which helped me immensely.
I absolutely love the functionality and personalization I can do with creating the groups. It took me awhile to figure out the push button functions and pages function but there were plenty of tutorial vids FlowToys put out on YouTube. They can get slick at times, almost seem that they are magnets to dust and oil but a quick wipe as mentioned before and your back to new. Also with fall just around the corner I have noticed that once it starts to cool off in the evenings and dew starts to form on the grass it does the same on the sticks. I threw a bunch of little alcohol prep wipes in my bag to get the sticky back quickly.
The brightness is unreal and extremely vivid which is ridiculous lol. The fire modes are so sick, I found my flow about a year ago and have wanted to buy a fire set but my wife wouldn’t let me…. so this scratched that Led and fire itch at the same time. Im a bit scared about the charging ports though. Some sort of additional reinforcement like a 3d printed tunnel or something that the whole MicroUSB could slide in Infront of the actual charging port.
I bought the portable bridge, which is also dope. The little flash drive stick is located inside this silicone type 3d printed tube with carrabener, im not sure if its supposed to slide out but it has since the first time I plugged the portable power bank into it, im thinking about maybe dropping in a dab of hot glue to seat it in there. I thought about getting the bridge for home use but right in the portable bridge instructions it says something like “plug it in and let it chill at your house.” I still have a lot to learn as far as the interface goes but this has been soooo fun. Its such a workout compared to my other sets that are 1 lb total including the sticks.
For real, FlowToys crew…. I am super grateful for this pair and can feel the love and intention put into them. I attached a vid, like I said I started this flow journey last September and can truly say I have picked them up almost every day since. Im really looking forward to the memories I will make with these!!!

So stoked to hear that you've been loving your full vision flower stick, and it's great to see a video of you using it too!
It looks like you emailed us about maintaining the tackiness on the shaft, and we're glad that switching to using 99% isopropyl alcohol helped resolve the issue. It's our go-to for all our prop cleaning needs, and works especially well to keep our grip feeling sticky.
As for the charging ports on each end of the flower stick, they're typically quite durable and we rarely hear of folks having issues with them. We expect they'll hold up well for you over time, and if you do run into any trouble in the future please reach out to us at warranty@flowtoys.com
For the pocket bridge, it is designed so that the bridge chip can be removed from the 3D printed case. It is pretty uncommon for the chip to fall out on it's own, however if it can happen if the 3D printed case is squeezed together on both sides. If you use want to be able to have a dedicated bridge to use a home, the 'at home USB bridge' is a great option!

I love flowtoys but I can not recommend the full vision LED flower stick. One thing that is not clear upon purchase is that the center part of the flower stick that is usually grippy is actually somewhat slick on this stick. I have purchased a non full vision led flower stick from flowtoys, the one that is vision but not the entire stick and that version is much more enjoyable to use.
Save your money and get the v2 vision flower stick without LEDs in the center of the stick. It is much more enjoyable and costs about 150 less. If I could return my stick I would, not happy with this purchase.
Hi Antonio, Thank you for your honest review and sorry to hear you're not stoked about the full vision flower stick! I totally understand where you're coming from. Many people love their full vision sticks and are good with the compromise in weight to get the end-to-end illuminated effect, but there is a trade off when the LEDs take the place of the carbon fiber shaft. In terms of feel, the composite and vision shafts feel much stiffer and more responsive to play with.

I'm surprised to hear about the grip difference you've experienced, as it is the same grip as in the composite and vision flower sticks, though a different diameter. It's custom made in the US. The slickness might come from it having some dust? It helps to wipe it down with a clean damp rag.

So I got the stick about a month ago. And I love it. It is heavy but that's not a big deal. It's balanced and flows well. I didn't get a bridge. But you can navigate all the options via the button on the end even if it is a bit finicky. Once you figure out the button press system it's not that bad.
My only qualm with it so far is how much the flower attract dust dirt and in my case dog hair.
The reactive animations are really fun to play with. The colors are bright and vibrant. I've elected to turn the brightness down to 2 as the default 4 is almost too bright in dim spaces.
In daylight the 4-5 brightness setting is bright enough to see clearly.
Looking forward to playing with it more as time goes on. And planning to get a bridge in the near future!
What started as a $5 pair from five below turned into a $60 non led pair (from flowtoys) to the first set of these bad boys about 10 years ago.. I ran my first set to the mud/ (therapeutic for me honestly)rarely play anymore but saving for another pair cause my daughter loves playing with them and I might get back into the flow 😅 absolutely love this product- hope to purchase some before this pirate fest in Texas this year or ima be juggling one end 🤣
