Beacon’s design includes an integrated swivel that’s super streamlined - so good! So good that we’re discontinuing our previous capsule handles for 10mm FPC rope in favor of this design. The OG capsule handles with external swivel are still available for 6mm smithy rope.
Why Beacon designed this rig:
"I love doing orbitals and just having free spinning poi, but I don't like the flop created by a swivel so I got to work and designed a 3D printed handle with a inline hybrid ceramic bearing and a raised textured grip. Since the rope is one piece from the handle to the head It feels natural and there's no flop. They are super bright and complete with the coral head, which makes for a really balanced look and feel. Especially great for gunslingers, tangles, and orbitals but I use them for all the tech."

Poi head options
Depending on your poi heads, you'll need different modified parts to make your rigs work with FPC.- If you have vision poi, you'll need to swap out your existing cord connectors with modified connectors.
- If you have coral poi, no extra parts are needed.
Custom lengths
We do our best to match your requested length exactly, though some variation cannot be reasonably avoided. Poi leash tends to shrink a little over time - we aim to meet your requested length at a minimum, and it could be ~5mm longer. We take extra care to ensure that all poi in a set are as close to the same length as possible, though ~2mm variation is possible.If you require tighter tolerance than this, we recommend you purchase enough leash to make at least two attempts yourself. Making very small adjustments to the leash length is very difficult, because the melted end breaks down with re-heating and needs to be cut off, which makes the lash at least 5mm shorter. Since the leash can shrink by more than that over time, we recommend you start a bit longer. Small variation in leash length is hard to feel/notice, and the lengths of all poi in a set matching is more important than the overall length of the set.

Note: FPC (like VPC) could shrink up to 4cm (1.5"), though probably less than that, and usually in the first few months of use. The shrinkage is due to the internal fibers shifting until they settle into a more stable state. We recommend you start with 1" longer than your ideal length.

Lollipop pro plus handles are made by Beacon PoiMechanic and come with a 60-day manufacturers' warranty on defects. As long as they're not physically damaged (e.g. water damaged), it will be a free replacement for the parts that are not working. These items do not qualify for upgrade credit.
