Silk dart vs cobra dart

The silk dart is designed for a smoother, slower flow. It has a broader head with a wider weight distribution.

The cobra dart, like a more traditional Rope Dart head, is designed for speed. It has a more narrow, thin head with a dense weight distribution. You can find cobra darts here.

Note on Silk Darts

For best results, we recommend using on grass, dirt, indoor flooring, or smooth surfaces. Please do not submerge your dart head in water!

Warranty

Silk darts are made by our friends at Rope Dart Academy and come with a 60-day manufacturers' warranty on defects. As long as they're not physically damaged (e.g. water damaged), it will be a free replacement for the parts that are not working. These items do not qualify for upgrade credit.

Very cool Silkdart :-)

First of all, the dart feels amazing and is perfect for training.
Unfortunately mine had a Material fail at the sides of the dart and after a few hours of training i had a hole on one side.(the silk,not the bag inside)
I tried to saw it myself but unhappily it opens again after a few weeks of training.
Maybe only bad luck so i keep sawing and training.
I dont called the customer Service because i ordert it to germany and i thought i have to wait another long time or have to send it back.
So nonetheless i think this is a very well made Silk Dart :)

From what it sounds like your dart has started to come apart very soon after you received it. That's definitely NOT supposed to happen and we'd love to help out.

I'm blind, but this is awesome in my hands!

As The Blind Poi Spinner, I've got to say, this rope dart is AWESOME! Trust me, I have smacked it, hit it, stomped it, slammed it, just KNEW I destroyed it, all by accident of course bc I can't see WTF I'm doing half the time, but this thing keeps on ticking, like a TIMEX! It is built so strong and solid and the weight is great. Make sure to LISTEN TO EROL when he hints he uses the dragon leash and it's best. The soft rope IS soft, but I still got rope burns, and my aggravating grass hitch-hikers/stickers LOVE it. Also, make sure to spend the little $ for the flag, it is made of a special fabric you can hear when this rocket comes buzzing by! If you love spinning poi, you are going to REALLY fall in love with a rope dart! I also have their silk dart for daytime, it's nice too, and I love the weight of it. I've got bruises, but SO worth it! Watch for me to put out some new vids of me trying these darts out, soon. Thank you so much to Flow Toys, you guys saved my life after my Mom died.
