Pod sleeves were conceived by flowtoys elf Samwise Clark as a means for spinners to have pod shells on their tubing-based props, especially vision poi. While peops have been able to use pod shells for their tube-poi and contact staffs for many years, we've not made the option widely known or available, partly because pod shells are a friction fit and do not securely attach to the tubes like flowcaps, and partly because the pod petals can flap around and get caught on things during use.
Sam came up with the pod sleeves as a solution, and they work brilliantly for any tube-based prop where spinners might want the added weight, and/or larger light diffusion. They work especially well for vision poi, vision darts and contact staffs.

Custom lengths:
We do our best to match your requested length exactly, though some variation cannot be reasonably avoided. Poi leash tends to shrink a little over time - we aim to meet your requested length at a minimum, and it could be ~5mm longer. We take extra care to ensure that all poi in a set are as close to the same length as possible, though ~2mm variation is possible.
If you require tighter tolerance, we recommend you purchase enough leash to make at least two attempts yourself. Making very small adjustments to the leash length is very difficult, because the melted end breaks down with re-heating and needs to be cut off, which makes the lash at least 5mm shorter. Since the leash can shrink by more than that over time, we recommend you start a bit longer.
Small variation in leash length is hard to feel/notice, and the lengths of all poi in a set matching is more important than the overall length of the set.
Bridge for connecting to the app:
Want to use the flowtoys connect app? You'll need a small hardware bridge to enable your props to talk to your mobile device and vice versa.
We have 2 options for bridges:
- Pocket bridge comes with its own power bank and can be used when you're out and about.
- USB bridge is great for home use. Just plug into power via usb.

Just arrived home from Texas Eclipse and I could not wait to write a review for my new Vision Poi. I have been spinning with Pod Poi for about 11 years now and I needed an upgrade from my most recent set purchased 5 years ago. One of the owners helped me select the right flow prop for me and I am in love with this set. THE MODES are EPIC. I even discovered I can sync with my best friend's levi wand. The Pod Sleeve solves everything that I didn't like about the Pod Poi I upgraded from. The weight and length is perfect for my short form of flow. I am 5' 2" with lots of transitions. This is a great set for beginners or for professionals to wow the crowd. I cannot say it enough. I love this set and I love this team of creators. 10 out of 10 YES!
